This is a direct (and somewhat improved) replacement for the 4.5" bass/full range speaker used in the following models:

It can be used, in instances where the original chassis is not available to rebuild, in the
It may require the removal of a small amount of material around the front edge of the through hole, and will not cover exactly the same area of original veneer on the baffle. The screws will pretty much line up with the outer edge of the hole for them in the basket.
It is not necessary to return the old part when purchasing this part.
