Jimbob's project overview
One part of Jimbob's speaker building project was to make some exact clones of the EPI 50, using my new parts. The boxes are the same size as the original speakers, and the driver placement is likewise identical.
The first photo shows the jig he made to drill the center guide holes for the driver cutouts:
Here we see the raw MDF cabinets, cut and glued together:
The cabinets now have veneered sides, one pair shows the beginnings of finish work:
And all of a sudden, the quarter-round trim is in place, the wood is all finished, and the grill frames made and fitted:
