My job description

HUMAN Speakers is a one-man operation - I gotta do all these things:

• First and foremost, build and repair speakers for customers
  • Strip old chassis returned as cores
  • Build new chassis to make up shortfall and for new speakers
  • Assemble and test parts and complete speakers
  • Package and ship parts and speakers
• Maintain adequate stock of reasonably costed raw materials via purchasing
• Maintain adequate stock of appropriate packaging and shipping supplies
• Clean, maintain, repair, replace and improve physical plant
• Build and maintain a coherent, pleasant web site to facilitate:
  • Customers deciding what they need to order and doing so
  • Owners of supported speakers finding information and entertainment
• Process paperwork for orders
• Maintain communications with past, present, and future customers
• Manage cash flow from orders to purchasing and overhead
• Design and refine complete speaker and D.I.Y. products
• Design or draw required parts and research sources
• Maintain quality control over raw materials and finished product
• Examine on line auctions for copyright violations
  • request inclusion of a citation when my text is found
• Examine on line auctions for good supported product photos
  • obtain permission for use when found
• Manage chemicals, glues safely and appropriately
• Maintain appropriate safety equipment
• Collect trash and haul to the dump
• Clean bathroom
• Plow the parking lot and mow the lawn (not at the same time)
• Keep the cat fed, warm and scratched
• Build and repair speakers for customers (in case I got too busy!)
